In this presentation, Santiago García Jaramillo, professor at Universidad Javeriana de Colombia, analyzes the constitutional amendment that is being carried out in Ecuador, through a more constitutional point of view, and wants to give ideas about constitutionalism comparing Ecuador and Colombia that can be used for the amendment that is being carried out. He gives several points about causes and effects as well as advantages and risks that can happen within the constitutional amendment, using several examples that have happened in Colombia.
