This paper analyzes ruling No. 1967-14-EP/20 issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, which refers to the elements that an allegation must contain to constitute a complete argument. Thus, it will examine the basis for ruling out an allegation if it does not contain the minimum elements necessary for a substantive ruling within an extraordinary protection action.
