This article presents the possibility to reform the extraordinary action. In the sense that the extraordinary action when presented regarding to an ordinary process, should be solved by the Supreme Court, and when presented regarding constitutional matters should be solved by the Ecuadorian Constitutional Court. To support our idea, we have studied all the extraordinary decisions issued by the Ecuadorian Constitutional Court between February 2019 to February 2021.
