Abstract

The present work talks about the validity of the accountability figure inside Ecuadorian law .For which the work analyzed the figure of the current alimony law and his characteristics. In the same way, analyzes the best interest of child and direct relation with accountability. As same as, the parental joint responsibility. Accountability analyzed as well as its defects and its application, including a series of recommendations for its use in Ecuador. Once law was analyzed, as well as the figure, the promulgation of it is highly recommended for the best interest of the child as same as the protection of the parental joint responsibility. The work presented some ideas for a validity inclusion of the figure in Ecuadorian law like a way for protection of the best interest of the child.
